Hoetell is a collective formed with the intention of exploring unconventional art dissemination. With practices spreading from the digital to the physical, Hoetell creates an online platform that allows viewers to interact with art in an experimental way, unpacking ideas of space, body and the human condition.

“∰” is Inspired by “Vibrant Matter: A Political Ecology of Things” by the political theorist Jane Bennett and “Staying with the Trouble: Making Kin in the Chthuluene” by Donna J. Haraway.  “∰” explores and simulates the complex relationship between objects and materials. This gives the work the dual nature of being "materialized" and "virtualized". Once encountered in the physical world, the work becomes highly condensed on a flat-screen.

Everything is connected to something, which is connected to something else. While we may all ultimately be connected to one another, the specificity and proximity of connections matter — who we are bound up with and in what ways. Thinking with materials, thinking with space, thinking with images, thinking with people, thinking with the thoughts of other disciplines.
